It is always a good idea to keep a journal so you can keep all your notes and reminders in. If you are serious about learning Tarot or anything else on this site, then I would certainly recommend getting one. Most readers have used one at some time or another. When I first started to use one it eventually evolved into my own Tarot Bible in a way. I don't have my original journal any more as most of it is now on electronic media in some shape or form.
All you need is a decent notepad, or should I say several notepads. I started with a basic A5 flip over pad, which I think I bought 5 for £0.50, at the time. After several weeks I had about 6 or 7 notepads all full, back and front too. So I got myself a loose-leaf-folder (A4). This did the trick. I could amend and edit it how I liked, and from that I produced a neat (A4 size, 4-fold, Cheat Sheet), so to speak. And that was all I ever used after that.
