Tarot Cards or Decks
There are very few original Tarot decks used these days, mainly because the designs, colours and images have now been enhanced by artists and readers to reflect their tastes.
Obviously in today's modern society, filled with technology and quicker ways to design such things on PC's etc., anyone wishing to design their own cards today, can. So what we will be looking at here is not just modern day card decks but some of the originals decks, so that we can compare how Tarot decks have evolved over the past 400 years.
Introduction
In a standard deck of Tarot Cards there are a total of 78 cards. The deck is usually divided into two, the Major Arcana consisting of 22 cards and the Minor Arcana with 56 cards, which are similar to a pack of ordinary playing cards and are split into 4 suits, Wands, Cups, Swords and Coins each having 14 cards.

Here is a small collection of Tarot Decks. In fact there are 1000's of decks and to show them all here would probably take a lifetime.
I will attempt to show as many as I can over time, I am not going to enter into lengthy descriptions or debates, this is only a small window for people to have a look at some of the diverse sets that have caught my eye, present and past.
